Privacy Policy

What this app does

Testimonial Collector is a tool that lets businesses collect written testimonials from their customers via a unique link. The business owner (our customer) shares that link with their own customers, who then voluntarily submit a testimonial.

What data is collected

When someone submits a testimonial, the following information is stored:

  • Name
  • Role / job title
  • Company name
  • Star rating (3–5)
  • Testimonial text
  • Profile photo (optional) — uploaded images are stored securely via Supabase Storage and are only used to display alongside the testimonial
  • Submission timestamp

All of this is voluntarily provided by the person submitting the testimonial. No data is collected without the submitter's active participation.

Business owners who sign up for an account provide an email address, which is used for authentication, account communication, and optional email notifications (such as alerts when a new testimonial is received).

Where data is stored

Data is stored in Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL database service. Supabase stores data on secure cloud infrastructure. You can review their privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data or anyone's data to third parties.
  • We do not run ads or use testimonial content for advertising.
  • We do not track end-users across websites.
  • We do not share data with any third party except Supabase (database & file storage), Resend (transactional email), and LemonSqueezy (payments).

Payments

Paid plans are processed by LemonSqueezy. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. LemonSqueezy acts as the Merchant of Record and handles billing, tax, and refund inquiries. Their privacy policy is available at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.

Your rights

If you submitted a testimonial and would like it removed, or if you are a business owner who wants your account and data deleted, contact us at support@testimonials.makhloufi.me and we will handle it promptly.
